Offroad Scrambler Bikes & Escooters - Burntwood Leisure Centre

Good Afternoon All

There have been recent reports and sightings of scrambler bikes and youths on push bikes with balaclavas on trying car doors at Burntwood Leisure Centre at the car park at 21:00 hrs on 09/09/25 fortunately I was on patrol at the time as a preventative measure before they arrived. I will be visible more here and we are aware that these bikes are from the local area. E-scooters are only allowed on private land and scrambler bikes are not allowed on the Leisure Centre field or car park. It is advised to invest in a steering lock and extra alarms and not to leave laptops, wallets or phones in cars as this then is an opportunity for thieves to break in to the car and steal them. I would advise on not leaving phone charger in your cars too as theives are assuming a phone may also be left in the car as we have had one instant where a car was broken into and there was a laptop charger in the car.
